MY RISE STORY

MY BACKGROUND

For as long as I can remember, I have always been an athlete. Anything having to do with sports just seemed to come easy for me. Being a younger brother, I followed in my older brothers footsteps. We played soccer, basketball and football. However, it wasn't until I was 15 years old and my mom convinced me to go out for the Track and Field team, that my life really changed. In a few short years I was a 5-time state champion in the state of Pennsylvania, voted athlete of the year for the entire state and was offered a scholarship to run track at Penn State University. My freshman year at Penn State, I was a junior All-American in the 400 hurdles running 53.3 seconds. By my senior year I was a Big Ten Champion in the 400 hurdles with a time of 49.97 seconds. I went to nationals where I became an NCAA All-American and qualified for the USA Olympic Trials. At the time I was one of the top ranked hurdlers in the world. Currently I do YouTube full time and own two companies; JCAMPFIT and CAMPISI CUSTOMS. JCampfit is a training company focused around personal training and track and field specific content. Campisi Customs is where we customize and giveaway motorcycles

WHAT'S IN MY GYM BAG?

I'm actually a very simple guy so I don't have much in my bags or pockets at any certain point in time. My iphone and air pods because I love listening to music while I train. My rise wrist wraps and rise belt. A believe shaker cup with bcaa's and pre-pump. My wallet with some business cards and thats about it.

MY TRAINING SPLIT

I don't really follow a traditional training split. I mainly just train based on how I feel, what muscles are sore and how many times I can get to the gym on any given week. I use a combination of full body workouts, upper/lower splits and push, pull, legs.

WHEN I TRAIN I LISTEN TO

MY FAVOURITE FOOD

I'm Italian and I literally could eat Pizza every day of my life. I'm not talking dominos though...I mean like REAL Italian NYC style slices that are floppy and as big as your head.

FUN FACT ABOUT ME

I have literally a million hobbies...from playing guitar and writing songs, snowboarding, riding motorcycles. I also used to be one of the top ranked HALO players in the world back in college. I was an absolute savage at Halo 1.
