I am a Canadian professional drug-free bodybuilder and powerlifter originally from Newfoundland, Canada and currently living in Bristish Columbia. Through my informative and science-based Youtube channel my goal is to share the knowledge I’ve gathered through university education and field experience with other experts who are passionate about the science behind building muscle, losing fat and getting healthier.
I earned the title of Mr. Junior Canada for natural bodybuilding in 2012 and as a powerlifter, held the Canadian national record for the bench press in 2014. As a powerlifter, I’ve claimed a 502 lb squat, 336 lb bench press and a 518 lb deadlift in competition.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry, I’ve gathered the requisite scientific knowledge to compliment my practical experience acquired through training and coaching. I’ve coached women's bikini and men's bodybuilding national and provincial champions, professional natural bodybuilders and nationally and IPF Worlds qualified raw powerlifters. I also love teaching in a more academic setting. I’ve presented seminars on Block Periodization, concurrent training and nutrition and training for natural bodybuilding in academic settings including the 2014 Online Fitness Summit and at the University of Iowa. I would one day love to complete a PhD in exercise science or a related field.

Wireless Headphones, Rise Lifting Straps, Rise 10mm Lever Belt, Preworkout, Notebook, Light carb snack (gummy candies)
Kiwifruit
Aside from lifting I also love music and philosophy.
While it changes depending on my current goal, my usual go-to split is a rotation between push/pull/legs and an upper/lower split. When I am running push/pull/legs I increase the reps and weekly volume and when I run upper/lower I tend to reduce the weekly volume and focus more on increasing strength.
